POSITION: PROBATION CASE WORKER

LOCATION: MCNAIRY COUNTY, TN

Salary: $16.50 per hour

Work schedule - Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

37.50 hours per week

Probation Case Worker Key Responsibilities:

• Assist probation clients with paperwork and required documentation
• Liaise with courts to ensure compliance with program requirements
• Maintain and analyze data for reports and program updates
• Conduct drug testing as required
• Enforce payment orders for fines, restitution, or support
• Provide support to victims in recovering restitution
• Appear in court as an expert witness when necessary
• Maintain professional relationships with internal and external partners

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Human Services, Education, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
• Experience managing and supervising large programs or departments
• Knowledge of Tennessee Department of Corrections and Jobs for America's Graduates
• Proficiency with database management, spreadsheets, and word processing
• Valid driver's license and insurability
• Financial management and accounts payable experience preferred
